Tariffs and how this impacts Lemax and Sissy In Seattle Holiday Merriments

Unless you have been hiding under a rock, you are more than likely aware of the newly imposed Tariffs on products coming from China. Lemax is a product made in China and is 100% impacted by these Tariffs.

We at Sissy In Seattle Holiday Merriments are keeping positive that this will be resolved quickly and order fulfillment will resume with Lemax headquarters. While we wait for an outcome with negotiations with China, we want to clarify a few rumors circulating.

There are 2 container ships on the ocean now bound for the USA with Lemax on board. Those freight vessels are slated to arrive at the end of May to early June. Lemax has informed us of what items from our wholesale orders are on those ships. We will be updating the website to indicate which items are coming. Look for the "June Arrival" purple banner on items that are in transit now. We are expecting over 260 sku items! Which will be a hodge podge of previous years products as well as some new 2025! Look for website updates coming in the next few days.

Note that what comes in on these ships will not be surcharged a tariff. Sissy In Seattle Holiday Merriments at this time will not be raising the prices on these items.

Right now production has stopped! The future? Lemax doesn't know honestly. Timing is everything. If a deal is made quickly between the USA and China then production can resume, which could result in a late arrival. If a deal is not made in a timely fashion, there may not be any further Lemax coming this year.

Of course, this is a fluid situation and could change tomorrow. We will keep updating this blog as details change. If you placed a pre-order with us for new 2025 and your order items are not on this shipment coming in May/June we will be refunding you once our shipment arrives. As always be aware we are very flexible and if you wish to cancel your pre-order please let us know!
