During my annual wholesale purchase of Lemax, I always try to stock up on items that are on closeout or in limited supply. I mean, who wouldn’t want to hoard village food trucks like a squirrel with a stash of acorns? I’m a Lemax foodie and carnival village enthusiast myself, so a village display featuring carnival scenes with food trucks and figures enjoying junk food is basically my dream village. This year, to my surprise, I stumbled upon the Lemax Joe's Smoke Shack. Stock #93443. This item was produced in 2019 and suddenly appeared out of nowhere! It was like the ghost of barbecue past, shining brightly on the Limited Supply flyer I received. I half-expected it to say, “I’m back, baby!” and do a little truck dance. After several Lemax collectors inquired about the story behind this item, I decided to ask my Lemax representative about it. His response was, "Item #93443 was originally developed as an exclusive item in 2019. Some inventory was recently discovered and added to the line as a limited quantity item." This item could be the unicorn in your 2025 village display. If you must have this in your collection, I suggest pre-ordering it before July. It will go fast.
